Arizona State Council of Operating Room Nurses

Arizona State Council of Operating Room Nurses

As an affiliate of AORN, state councils are professional membership organizations formed to focus on legislative, education, and practice issues affecting the perioperative nursing profession. State Councils provide forums for perioperative nurses to gather for discussion, advice, and consultation on issues in their respective states.

The mission of Arizona State Council of Operating Room Nurses (AZSCORN) is to promote safety and optimal outcomes for patients undergoing operative and other invasive procedures by providing practice support and professional development opportunities to perioperative nurses. As an AORN affiliate we will collaborate with professional and regulatory organizations, industry leaders, and other health care partners who support the mission.
